Oatmeal Bread

2 T shortening
2 t salt
2 c boiling water
½ c molasses
1 c rolled oats
1 pkg yeast
½ c lukewarm water
5-6 cups flour

Put shortening, salt in bread mixer. Pour boiling water over. When cool, add molasses, oats and yeast dissolved in water. Mix, add flour. Raise, punch, raise, shape, raise in pans. Bake at 375° for 40-45 min.
