4 c sliced tart apples (4–5)
⅔–¾ c packed light brown sugar
½ c oats
⅓ c butter, softened
¾ t cinnamon
¾ t nutmeg
Heat oven to 350°. Arrange apples in greased square pan (8×8). Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the apples. Bake until the topping is golden and apples are tender, about 30 mins.
