1 3-oz pkg strawberry or mixed fruit Jell-O
⅛ t salt
1¼ c boiling water
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
2 c finely chopped apples
chopped nuts (optional)
Dissolve Jell-O and salt in boiling water. Break up cranberry sauce with fork. Add to gelatin mixture. Chill until very thick. Fold in apples. Pour into individual molds. Chill until firm. Remove from molds. Makes about four cups, or 6-8 servings.
