1-2 T butter
1 jar chopped pimentos
1 can tomato soup
¾ stick Cracker Barrel cheddar
few grains cayenne pepper
1 beaten egg
Melt butter in top of double boiler. Add pimentos and soup. Add cheese, chopped, and let melt, stirring until smooth. Add egg and cayenne pepper. Serve over saltines.
Note: Add the egg shortly after the cheese; if it gets too hot before the egg is added, it can partially cook and make it lumpy!
