Meat Loaf

⅔ c dry bread crumbs
1½ lb hamburg
¼ c chopped onion
⅛ t pepper
1 c heated milk
2 slightly beaten eggs
¼ t salt
½ t sage or poultry seasoning

Sauce:
3 T brown sugar
¼ t nutmeg
4 T catsup
1 t dry mustard

Mix all meatloaf ingredients well; shape into loaf pan. Mix sauce ingredients and pour over loaf. Bake 45 min – 1 hr. at 350°.

Jo’s note: sauce is delicious! Feel free to double.
