Coffee Mousse

1 c coffee (liquid)
1 c sugar
1 t cornstarch
1 egg, beaten
½ pt whipped whipping cream
1 t vanilla

Make a cooked custard of coffee, sugar; i.e. in double boiler, mix dry ingredients, add beaten egg, then coffee and pinch of salt — cook until it coats the spoon. Cool, then add whipped cream and vanilla (FOLD in). Freeze, take out and stir, then freeze again. Repeat once, the keep stored in freezer.
