Fruit Salad

Use as many different kinds of fruit as are fresh. Chop and mix in large bowl, sprinkle with sugar, and chill. Choose fruit for color, texture and taste. In one of Abby’s fruit salads, she will typically include equal amounts of:

  • peaches
  • strawberries
  • cantaloupe
  • honeydew
  • blueberries
  • kiwi
  • grapes, red
  • apples (sometimes)
  • bananas (sometimes)
  • pears (sometimes)

Instead of sprinkling with sugar, you can also mix balsamic vinegar and honey, to taste, and drizzle over the fruit (about 2:1 honey to vinegar).
